- zephyr's that one kid who likes to stay up late playing video games and sleep during class. as much as he slacks off, surprisingly enough, he hates the concept of being a deadweight, so he actually pulls his weight whenever he's in a group.
- he has a bit of a sensitive nose. this often works to his disadvantage, however, because his parents are avid smokers. as a kid, he often plugged the cracks around his door with towels and holed up in his room to get away from the stench. at this point in time, his father is dead from lung cancer and his mother seems to be heading toward the same fate.
- zeph has a soft spot for elderly people because there was an elderly couple who lived several blocks down when he was little. they always offered him free baked goods and told him stories whenever he dropped by to get away from his deteriorating home life. sadly, they died when he was eleven.
