"I'm so done!"
With a great amount of force and velocity, a number of books were thrown against the shelves of the library, many of them empty anyway. They weren't going to be useful for one Arlynn Rider.
"This is stupid," she muttered, leaning against a bookcase with a hand to her face. She couldn't afford to write an A+ essay if her research was fruitless.
Who in their right mind would put blank books in a library?
Arlynn groaned.
"I'm so fucking done."

"Wow, I hope you plan on picking those up," Hikako deadpanned as she casually passed by, the mop she carried over her shoulder bumping into Arlynn's side. It was the nasty wet part too.
Despite being tempted to just leave the younger girl to her devices, she, on a whim, dramatically swiveled around to face the pink-haired individual (the mop knocking quite a few books out of their respective shelves and to the floor in succession). For a moment, it looked like Hikako was going to say something important and life-changing. Except she just looked at the books her mop and pushed over with mild disdain.
"Oh. Whoops." Her voice was a rather dispassionate sound to begin with, but now it just sounded outright flat.
Well, she could pick those up later—it was kind of her job, so she would have to anyways. Returning her attention to the girl in front of her, Hikako lifted her mop and stabbed into the floor, before leaned her weight onto it. Really, she was putting way too much effort in trying to look cool.
"You probably shouldn't have thrown that book, you know? It's like how some people have signs in front of their houses saying "beware of dogs", it's the same here. Beware of the books," and as Hikako said the words, the blank books surrounding both of them began to levitate off of the ground, "especially the blank ones."
